PT-141 is a cyclic heptapeptide analogue of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone, Ac-Nle-cyclo[Asp-His-D-Phe-Arg-Trp-Lys]-OH, with the ring closed between the Asp and Lys side chains. Molecular formula C50H68N14O10, molecular weight 1025.2 g/mol, CAS 189691-06-3. Each vial contains 10 mg of lyophilised powder, sealed under nitrogen.
